Silver Beach Resort – seen from the beach
Silver Beach Resort is one of the most beautiful places we
have ever seen. It is almost a little lagoon where there are
3 resorts on the beach.
It’s a good idea to book the resort a couple of days
in advance. It’s also a good idea to have a walk on
the beach when you get there so you can have a chat with the
staff about which bungalows are available. Try to choose a
bungalow which is farthest from the road.
The resort is found right out to the main road and in between
the two largest tourist centres on Koh Samui. If you’re
interested in seeing the towns it’s only 10-15 minutes
by minibus to either Chaweng Town or Lamai.
The beach was the best one we found on Koh Samui.
På Silver Beach resort er der ingen pool, men den savnes
ikke, fordi stranden er så suveræn. Det skal nævnes,
at hvis man ikke bryder sig om at snorkle er det også
muligt at bade direkte fra stranden – sandet er også
fint og hvidt her.

The houses are nice and the prices are extremely reasonable.
The staff are also really friendly, but they don’t speak
much English.
One thing to be aware of - the food was very spicy –
in fact their Thai food was the spiciest we tasted on Koh
Samui, which was nearly inedible for a family with children…
